Snapdragon Tech Summit 2021 | aitos.io collaborates with Qualcomm to showcase IoT-native trusted NFT-Mint Demo

Sanya, CHINA — December 1st, 2021 — aitos. io, a startup of IoT + Blockchain synergic innovation, is collaborating with Qualcomm to offer a trusted and efficient NFT mining demo from smart device, including IoT, digital security and Blockchain to ignite a dynamic and innovative market for the creation and sale of digital art.

During the Snapdragon Tech Summit held by Qualcomm on 1–2 December 2021. Snapdragon® Technology goes big this year by revolutionizing the mobile experience with the next-gen Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset. Qualcomm Wireless Edge Services (QWES) based on Snapdragon 8 launched a demo showcase exploring business innovation across industry-leading technologies such as IoT, digital security, and Blockchain. aitos.io has created its BoAT(Blockchain of AI Things) blockchain application framework and designed a BoAT based solution to enable smart device to mint digital creation as a trusted NFT with the empowerment by Qualcomm QWES.

In the demo, the music was directly created by a smart music device where the music original file will be kept safely in Snapdragon chipset. Meanwhile, each smart instrument is also connected to the blockchain via Snapdragon mobile platform and assigned a unique device ID, which is safely stored in the Snapdragon Trusted Execution Environment (TEE). When the performer creates a song, aitos.io BoAT in the smart instrument will send a request to QWES for generating an attestation report of the corresponding music work, which will be regarded as the blockchain “birth certificate” of the work including the creation device ID and music file fingerprint (the hash value of the music file). NFT buyers will later browse the NFT marketplace such as OpenSea and query the “birth certificate” of related works of art to confirm their provenance. For those NFTs with proper “birth certificate”, buyers can rely on the QWES technology and learn the music creation detail such as music device and music player. For those NFTs with abnormal feedback from QWES or lack of “birth certificate”, buyers will know immediately the possible risk of the work value.

“Working with technology partners like Qualcomm, we are committed to exploring the convergence of IoT and Blockchain as well as Artificial Intelligence innovation in the 5G era, bringing all smart IoT devices into the trusted digital world with BoAT+QWES The credible underpinnings of the digital economy is still emerging, but many key components such as IoT, AI and Blockchain have started to take shape. This new paradigm will allow IoT devices to create digital assets as Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs), and the owners will trade them in the NFT market, and create an entirely new free-market IoT-native economy that can be monetized in the physical world. ” said Leo Lin, CEO of aitos.io.

About aitos.io

aitos.io is a technology start-up focusing on the integrated innovation of IoT and Blockchain. By combining its own rich resources in the IoT industry, aitos.io has raised the standard for an open-sourced blockchain application framework BoAT (Blockchain of AI Things) with delivered via IoT chipset and module to enable IoT devices quickly implement trusted data on-chain and access the blockchain services. At the end of 2019, aitos.io and nine mainstream cellular wireless module manufacturers jointly initiated the Blockchain IoT Module alliance, and successively released their own brands of BoAT blockchain module products. This resulted in hundreds of millions of IoT devices equipped with the capability of blockchain services access as a trusted entry of IoT+Blockchain application. aitos.io’s vision is to leverage an alliance of global IoT vendors to empower them to tap the value of applications and data.

At the beginning of the project launch in the end of 2018, aitos.io received angel investment from the IoT industry expert group and strategic investment from Wanxiang Blockchain. In December 2018, aitos.io was awarded membership into ARM Accelerator Camp. In June 2019, aitos.io emerged as the founding member of China Unicom IoT and Wanxiang Blockchain IoT+Blockchain Joint Innovation Center. In November, aitos.io became a empowerment partner of Microsoft’s AI and IoT Lab . In August 2020, aitos.io transitioned into Tencent’s Blockchain Accelerator program as the first member. In February 2021, aitos.io joined RISC-V International as strategic member and initiated to form new Blockchain SIG (special interest group). In April, aitos.io initiated 1st China technical requirements standards for trusted blockchain access of IoT terminals.
