Mobile World Congress 2021 -Shanghai commenced on Tuesday, February 23, 2021, as the three-day event officially kicked off at the Shanghai New International Expo Center. MWC has always stood as a shiny beacon to represent the pulse and heartbeat of an innovative and thriving global, regional and domestic Chinese mobile industry environment. MWC-Shanghai is significant as the first in-person conference event to return to normal vendor-to-audience interaction, since the epidemic cancelled all global venue activities in 2020. This year’s theme is "Connected Impact" to bring future-oriented cutting-edge technology trends to global audiences. On the first day of a specially organized Blockchain leaders stage, aitos.io officially announced that it has become a strategic member of the RISC-V Foundation. aitos.io, together with Wanxiang Blockchain, SiFive, StarFive and LeapFive co-sponsored the establishment of the "Blockchain SIG" in the RISC-V Foundation; this was to further promote the integration of blockchain technology in the RISC-V community to advance ecosystem development of trusted data bases. At the press conference, Mr. Leo Lin, CEO of aitos.io, entertained the stage audience with a special topic presentation titled "BoAT enters a trillion-level IoT trusted data market, and comprehensive upgrade of the Internet of Things + Blockchain ecosystem with a synergistic strategy". Leo mentioned that "Joining the RISC-V Foundation is in line with the integration and innovation strategy of aitos.io along a key Internet of Things + Blockchain path. We contributed to the launch of the 'Blockchain SIG' and conducted in-depth cooperation with the RISC-V technology community to further optimize and support the growth of our BoAT blockchain application framework for the RISC-V instruction set and chip architecture. This allows the industry to accelerate the access and application of blockchain services by IoT devices, along with building a trusted IoT data base that is open around the value of data."
At this exhibition, the leaders of each vertical jointly demonstrated the latest development results from their joint "5G + Blockchain" ecosystem innovation. aitos.io was invited to participate in a "5G Smart Camp" promotion by Fibocom, a key leading cellular Internet of Things module manufacturer. aitos.io and Fibocom will join hands to jointly release 5G BoAT trusted data on-chain solution and both explore the integration of BoAT with 5G vertical industry applications, to preemptively build a method of collaborative innovation to power blockchain + Internet of Things usage, and detonate a Trillion-level IoT trusted data market.
