“OneMO on Blockchain”- China Mobile and aitos.io announce innovation cooperation to develop “Cat.1 Blockchain IoT Module”
On On August 4, 2020, China Mobile IoT hosted “OneMO” Cat.1 Online Tech Summit & New Product Launch Event. At the summit event, China Mobile IoT and blockchain innovation enterprise aitos.io announced to strengthen the partnership in the blockchain field and jointly launched a Cat.1 + Blockchain solution for trusted data on-chain based on Cat.1 IoT devices.
As part of the partnership, China Mobile IoT and aitos.io jointly released their first Blockchain IoT module model “ML302”. The ML302 blockchain module integrates aitos.io’s “BoAT” (Blockchain of AI Things) blockchain application framework on the UNISOC 8910DM chipset platform. aitos.io’s “BoAT” blockchain application framework is developed by aitos.io and carried on a cellular IoT platform.
“BoAT” integration with China Mobile OneMO ML302 module changes the paradigm by creating a “Blockchain IoT module” capable of generating on-device identification and device data on the chain and also enables cost-effective and expedient smart contract invoke. The ML302 Blockchain IoT module can ensure that when the data is uploaded to the cloud, the data characteristic value (hash) is also uploaded to the blockchain, in order to achieve trusted data for reliable correspondence of “ blockchain-cloud mapping”.
In the future, China Mobile IoT and aitso.io will also introduce more Blockchain IoT module solutions with embedded BoAT solution, integrate the security capabilities of China Mobile IoT platform and SIM platform, and launch blockchain application framework that meets the requirements of security certification, so as to realize the one-stop IoT+Blockchain solution of “one- click on-chain”.
