aitos. io won 1st prize in the 5th Bloom Cup National Competition hosted by The Ministry of Industry & Information Technology
During the recent 5th Annual Bloom Cup, 5G Applications competition challenge, held in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province, China, a successful general product specialty category was initiated. aitos.io took 1st prize for “Yanfei 5G Blockchain Module Helps Build a Trusted IoT Digital Infrastructure”. Meanwhile, in the Smart Finance Specialty category, aitos.io launched the “BoAT Blockchain-based Trusted Battery Assets Management Plan” and was awarded 3rd prize.
5G + Blockchain is an important part of the new information infrastructure that fully empowers the 5G industry’s digital transformation to ensure that IoT data is credible from the source while also promoting the marketization of data elements. China Unicom, aitos.io, and Fibocom lead this specialty competition track that won 1st prize, related to the “Yanfei Blockchain Module Helps Build a Trusted IoT Digital Base” project.
Yanfei 5G blockchain module enables IoT device “plug and play” functionality by utilizing blockchain transactions and smart contracts to interface mainstream blockchains, making it easier to implement “Internet of Things + blockchain” use cases. The Yanfei blockchain module (embedded with the BoAT blockchain application framework) establishes a trust anchor where the IoT device’s data flow resides closest to the data source. This logically ensures the credibility of the data from the source of the collection, helping to break a data silo effect and create a reliable IoT Trust Digital Infrastructure to achieve sustainable development for thousands of industries that are under digital transformation.
This year’s “Bloom Cup” Smart Finance specialty competition track for the 5G Application Competition demonstrated superb use cases for 5G applications in the financial industry. This culminated with many outstanding achievements emerging to give a broad scope of application advantages for using 5G connectivity in financial industry sectors. The “BoAT Blockchain-based Trusted Battery Asset Management Solution” project won 3rd prize in the General Track Specialty Competition. aitos.io managed the design lead with major logistical support on this project from Wanxiang Blockchain. In fact, this battery asset management solution will soon roll out as a commercial solution by virtue of collaboration between aitos.io, Wanxiang Blockchain, Shanghai Zhizu IoT Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Intelligent Rental”), and Wanxiang Leasing Co., Ltd. The platform combines aitos.io’s “BoAT Blockchain Application Framework” with Wanxiang Blockchain’s self-developed consortium “Venachain” platform, which is a trusted management platform solution for battery assets under the multi-agent collaboration.
As 5G + Blockchain applications scale in capacity, aitos.io will be strategically positioned for this trend by connecting more 5G blockchain chip and module products. aitos.io is strategically positioned for the growth of the IoT and Blockchain ecology to explore future application needs with industry partners, which is essential to improve the potential for replication and large-scale impact.

In February 2021, aitos.io joined RISC-V International as strategic member and initiated to form new Blockchain SIG (special interest group). In April, aitos.io initiated 1st China technical requirements standards for trusted blockchain access of IoT terminals.
