In December 2022, aitos.io launched a trusted carbon data management solution integrating aitos.io’s “BoAT” and Microsoft’s “Azure Sphere” combined technologies, which has been selected by Microsoft as a global IoT solution and officially launched on Microsoft Azure website https://devicecatalog.azure.com/solutions/804006b6-ae7e-4a50-b283-16f1ad07bzd3c.
Leading technologies with synergistic relationships, including Microsoft Azure Sphere, Microsoft Azure IoT Hub, and aitos.io’s BoAT blockchain application framework, have tapped into the “zero carbon” future trend being the entry point to provide credible carbon data lifecycle management for Microsoft’s customers under digital transformation worldwide. This will also allow discussions about the future of sustainable developments, and help the industry’s green transformation while upgrading the technological innovation.
At the recently concluded 2022 COP27 UN Climate Change Conference, the main goal was to stir climate action from businesses, investors, cities, countries, regions, and civil society worldwide to turbo-charge their growth initiatives. Climate actors from 139 countries are taking action to build resilience for 2.9 billion people. Net zero emissions are the global goal, and those who have the ability to go faster and farther will need to make a corresponding effort. As a pioneer in carbon neutrality efforts, Microsoft announced its carbon neutrality goal as early as 2020 to reduce and eventually eliminate Microsoft’s carbon footprint. Microsoft will be carbon negative by 2030, and by 2050, Microsoft will also have eliminated a portion of its carbon emissions from the atmosphere. This feat will total the sum of its carbon emissions given off since the company was founded in 1975, including direct emissions or those resulting from electricity use.
Carbon neutrality is an important part of battling climate change head-on to sustain human civilization. The Global Climate Action Portal ( see hyperlink https://climateaction.unfccc.int/) has recorded a 78% increase in actors from the Asia-Pacific region. In November 2022, propelled by global elements' decarbonization goals, aitos.io is integrating Microsoft's Azure Sphere technology to launch a BoAT+Azure Sphere trusted carbon data management solution, which is dedicated to building a one-stop plug-and-play solution modeled after Microsoft Azure Sphere’s IoT security capabilities and aitos.io’s BoAT blockchain application framework plus other digital technologies. It is committed to building a one-stop, plug-and-play trusted carbon data management solution based on Microsoft Azure Sphere’s IoT security capability and BoAT blockchain application framework and other digital technologies, providing “Trusted MRV” for real-time carbon footprint monitoring throughout the product lifecycle for enterprises undergoing digital transformation, and providing a credible green carbon digital base with unified standards, reliable sources, verifiable and traceable for different stakeholders such as government regulators, carbon exchanges and upstream and downstream industry chains.
Microsoft and aitos.io have reached strategic cooperation with Wanxiang Blockchain (a pioneering green technology company) and are committed to building a vibrant global blockchain ecosystem. This synergistic collaboration is based on integrating the BoAT+Azure Sphere trusted carbon data management solution with the Wanxiang Blockchain’s self-developed Zero Carbon Emissions Park Management Platform Solution. The WanXiang Carbon Park addresses carbon emissions challenges and strategies for green office parks. Combined with IoT security and other digital technologies, the “WanXiang zero Carbon Park” will provide full and credible traceability (transparency), analysis and supervision services of carbon assets for the park, and realize a credible digital base for a whole chain management process. The keys of this initiative focus on reducing carbon emissions for the entire life cycle of the park, empowering green transformation to take hold, and advancing sustainable development of the whole industry with blockchain and related digital technologies.

In February 2021, aitos.io joined RISC-V International as strategic member and initiated to form new Blockchain SIG (special interest group). In April, aitos.io initiated 1st China technical requirements standards for trusted blockchain access of IoT terminals.
