Mr. Leo Lin, aitos.io CEO, delivers keynote speech entitled “Blockchain of AI Things, Trust to be free”, at an ARM PSA Security Architecture Technology Seminar
Futuristic Market Predictions:
By 2020, there will be more than 20 billion IoT devices appearing in our daily lives, which will widely affect vertical industries such as urban water supply, energy grids, industrial production, smart transportation and smart healthcare. More and more IoT device manufacturers have realized that trust is essential to the success of IoT network and device deployments, but building a terminal-based security solution independently in the short term is too problematic and resource-intensive. “BoAT” Framework from aitos.io, which is a compatible middleware developed in accordance with the PSA (Platform Security Architecture) security standard, is based on ARM’s PSA chip and operating system security. This provides a secure closed-loop landing for PSA based on secure cellular modules, operating in a fragmented IoT marketplace.
On July 9, the "2019 Arm PSA Security Architecture Technology Seminar" was held in Beijing, China. Arm invites major partners from test laboratories, certified chips, modules, solutions, cloud services, etc. to jointly pitch PSA’s process and effectiveness from threat models, security analysis, hardware/firmware architecture specifications design, security system implementation and PSA security tests and certification. Arm also shares the results of use cases to helps developers better understand how PSA will solve security issues in different industries to help build security applications more easily.
aitos.io is a IoT + Blockchain technology start-up company focused on trusted identity authentication and data privacy-preserving for the enterprises of AIoT. aitos.io capitalizes on the abundant resources from the global IoT industry. And, in an era of “Internet of Everything”, aitos.io’s BoAT Framework solution (“BoAT meaning Blockchain of AI Things”) is a trusted
framework that merges Internet of Things and Blockchain cutting edge technologies. The BoAT Framework is embedded into cellular modules and is a straightforward software implementation for IoT application developers and device manufacturers. BoAT Framework solution is strategic in enabling cellular IoT devices with identity authentication mechanism based on blockchain. By marking the user data of IoT devices with privacy-based identity tags, data value exchange portals for IoT edge networks are formed from the last mile of the device.
Mr. Leo Lin mentioned in this keynote: “The Internet of Things is a highly fragmented market. More and more IoT device manufacturers have realized that “trust” is truly essential to the success of the Internet of Things. However, building terminal-based security solutions can be problematic and resource-intensive. The BoAT Framework is based on ARM’s PSA chip and operating
system security. The BoAT Framework is a middleware developed in accordance with PSA security standards, has cross-industry versatility and can provide differentiated solutions in combination with specific vertical application use case scenarios. This key advantage security feature will effectively help IoT device manufacturers to easily integrate in a closed loop environment over ARM’s PSA security architecture rather quickly, safely, and at low cost. ”
