Heavy-weights in the ICT industry in China market recently joined-together to participate in the 4th Bloom Cup 5G Application Competition; this successful undertaking is sponsored by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology, the 5G application industry body, the IMT-2020 (5G) promotion group, the China Communications Standards Association, and the Chinese branch of the BRICS Future Network Research Institute, with thunderous synergies for cooperation. The Smart Finance Contest theme for Bloom Cup 2021 is “Navigating the correct path leads to actualization”. The content saw 255 project participants from within 156 participating organizational departments across the country. The declared projects cover fields such as supervision, banking, finance, carbon credit payments, securities, insurance, the Stock Exchange, Fin-Tech, beneficial agricultural industry sectors, the leasing industry, the communications ecosystem. After a rigorous selection process and competitive procedure, experts assessed candidates with core criteria value from key technologies, commercial applications, and corporate strength of the product offering. In the end, 65 projects won as finalists in the Smart Finance Special Competition.
As the competition heated up between the September 26th and 27th time frame, each participating team interacted and engaged the on-site group of expert judges to explain the business model behind each project plan. After the on-site defense actions, the scoring was completed. The constructive outcome resulted in 7 first-place prize winners, 13 second-place prize winners, 20 third-place prize winners, and final 22 outstanding awards.
aitos.io skillfully articulated its BoAT IoT+Blockchain Trusted Data Framework value-proposition for the trusted Beef Cattle Financing Solution. As the process moved briskly through three rounds of fierce competition, from preliminary to semi-final then final round, BoAT stood out among the 255 participating projects nationwide to capture the second prize.
The major significance of this Blossoming Cup to aitos.io is to achieve the highest industry recognition for BoAT application of “5G+Blockchain” in a rural revitalization strategy environment. By demonstrating the successful full life-cycle phase for beef cattle fattening by registering the data on-chain, it strengthed the trust of biological assets from the source.
